The app does not collect your practice data

MathStar works without registration or sign-in. Arithmetic practice runs on the device. We do not collect or transmit names, contact details, precise location, device identifiers, answers or learning records from the app. The current app contains no advertising, third-party analytics or tracking SDKs.

What is saved on your device

The app uses local device storage for practice settings, language and appearance preferences, stars, experience, badges, completed-round counts and best streaks. This information is used to provide app features and is not sent to our servers. Device backups may include it, depending on your operating-system backup settings. We do not provide server-based sync. Removing the app and its data removes local progress; restoring a device backup may restore saved data.

Purchases

MathStar is planned as a one-time paid download. There are no in-app purchases or subscriptions in the current version. Apple handles purchase transactions under its own policies. We do not receive your payment-card details through the app.

Children and parent support

Children can practice without creating a profile containing personal details. Support is intended for parents and carers. If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you choose to include. We use that information to respond to and resolve your enquiry, and retain it only as needed for support or applicable record-keeping requirements. Please do not send children's names, photos, school details or other personal information.

This website

This support website is separate from offline app practice. It does not use advertising cookies or analytics scripts. Our hosting infrastructure may process standard access logs, such as IP address, requested page, browser information and access time, for operation and security. These logs are not linked to children's practice records. Language selection is stored in the page URL, not in a tracking cookie. Email links open your own email service; Apple links, when available, are governed by Apple's policies.

Your questions and requests

For questions, access or deletion requests concerning support correspondence, contact touchwaves@foxmail.com. We cannot retrieve app progress from our servers because it is not uploaded. We do not sell app user data or use it for targeted advertising.

Updates

We will update this page if these practices change, with a revised effective date. Any future collection of app data would also require an update to the App Store privacy disclosures.
